The new Goa airport was designed to showcase art and culture with a mix of artists from Goa. At the same time, it has been built on the theme of sustainable infrastructure. The architectural lighting of this project is designed to highlight design elements while ensuring efficiency in energy consumption. CIMA BY LODES Cima / Gold CIMA BY LODES Inspired by the function of the jam cleats found in sailing boats, Cima —a nautical rope in Italian— is a “suspended” lamp characterised by a ceiling-to-floor rope, a sleek and highly functional design element. A joint that holds the lamp body slides vertically along the rope, while the counterweight allows to manage any excess rope. The simple cylindrical shapes and the black colour of these elements highlight the three brilliant finishes of the rope, vibrant accents to suit any interiors and décor mood. HOVER BY LODES Hover HOVER BY LODES Metal Structure: Matte White Paper Diffuser: Matte White The Hover table and floor lamps feature a lamp shade that looks as if it is detached from the base, connected seamlessly by a single cable that runs through the stem and comes out of the other end. The end result creates an illusion that the light source is almost weightless and floating in the air, like a balloon. Hover features a dimmer controlled by a power switch on the upper end of the stem, users can simply touch the top of the stem to modulate the intensity of the light. All typically external technical functions have been carefully incorporated within the lamp’s internal structure. Additionally, the power supply comes in the form of a USB cable. The shade comprises a sheet made from a special compound of paper and polymer film, further emphasizing the lightness of the design language while extending its durability. The sheet is laid out in especially flat designed packaging to avoid excess waste, allowing for the lowest possible environmental footprint. The shade can then be easily assembled by the customer thanks to a plastic film that allows the two ends to be joined together. PROJECTS: Back to Ceiling lights

FLAR BY LODES Flar / Honey Champagne FLAR BY LODES Structure: Metal Champagne Terra Diffuser: Blown glass Honey Turquoise The name Flar evokes images of a flare or ‘flamboiement’ in French – an intense blaze or burst of light. Highly impactful in its simplicity, Flar is a floor and table lamp that does not go unnoticed. Inspired by traditional storm lanterns which use glass pipes to protect the flame, Flar features a billowing glass shade designed to surround an LED filament bulb, to magnify the light source and diffuse a very soft light, filtered by the tinted glass, almost like a contemporary candle. CROMA BY LODES Croma / White CROMA BY LODES Taking its name from the Italian word for a ‘quaver’ or ‘eighth’, the floor lamp Croma reflects the dynamism of the musical note in its slender frame. In contrast to the classic floor lamp, which typically opens out at the top, Luca Nichetto turned the frame on its head to create a revolutionary product. Immediate in its function, elegant in the four available finishes, Croma’s powerful light output and dim-to-warm function make it suitable for a variety of environments. VOLUM BY LODES Volum short 29 VOLUM BY LODES The floor lamp is available in two pole heights and two glass sizes – 29 and 42 cm in diameter. Combining the two heights with the different sphere sizes results in four configurations that cater to different functions and needs. The taller frame, which reaches a height of 188 cm with the 42 cm sphere, is ideal for illuminating large living areas. The shorter version, at 130 cm, can be placed next to a seat as a reading lamp, suitable even for an airport lounge or hotel lobby. The intermediate sizes enhance the versatility within the collection. In compositions, by playing with the different heights of the four configurations or combining them with other elements from the collection, the floor lamps create original lighting solutions suitable for private homes, commercial buildings, and workplaces. This versatility is further enhanced by the dimmer located on the cable, allowing you to adjust the light intensity to achieve the desired atmosphere.
