CHAMBAL RIVER FRONT, KOTA
Chambal river front (CRF) is the world’s first heritage river front. It has two sides along the Chambal river – east side and west side, in the city of Kota in Rajasthan, India. There are ten plus ghats on each side. There are around ten thousand fixtures on the CRF. The post tops have been designed by Ar. Anoop Bartaria exclusively for CRF. Most of the facades have wall washes, uplights from iGuzzini and LED Linear. iPro floodlights have been used to flood the heritage walls and steps around the ghat. The ghats get alive after dusk creating magical spell on facades and shadows on the river bed.
